The Erich-Lexer-Clinic is a modern private clinic affiliated with the University Medical Center Freiburg(UMCF), a combination which as such is unique in Europe. Thus, maximum safety and security can be provided for with state of the art plastic surgical procedures – in an exclusive environment.

The establishment of the Erich-Lexer-Clinic at the University Medical Center Freiburg (UMCF) follows the great tradition of the native-born Freiburger Erich Lexer, who directed the Surgical Department in Freiburg from 1919-1927. Internationally recognized as one of the pioneers in the field of Plastic Surgery he was particularly dedicated to reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.In 1920/21 he performed the first published breast reduction worldwide. In 1931 the first facelift in Germany was performed by him.
